The first round of the IPL Winter/Spring 2016 Playoffs begins this weekend with some enticing match-ups in what promises to be an extravaganza of potting power. (I hope I haven't over-hyped it too much and you can now all live up to it)

3 Alley Seoul Misfits @ Shenanigans Boomtown Rats

Bulldog Estyle @ Sin Bin Potato

Scrooge Pub Phoenix @ Dolce Vita Angry Birds

Championship B

Seoul Pub FUTA @ Shenanigans Banana Scrubbers

Good luck to all involved

Saturday witnessed the final doubles tournament of the season and 26 people put themselves forward for honour, glory and possibility of making new friends. There is always a great atmosphere at these tournaments and those present were proud to watch the rebirth of Lenny Erickson as a force to be reckoned with and witness the emergence of a man who is determined to collect as many trophies as possible this season, namely Ahmed Khan. They defeated the stern challenges of Nick Miller & Kevin Gamad who in turn, rather fortuitously, beat Dominic Johnson & Paulino Torrico. Thanks to all those who help out in the running of the tournament, especially Lenny, Ronan and Mark. Trophies will be presented at the banquet.

1st Place: Lenny Erickson (Shenanigans Boomtown Rats) & Ahmed Khan (JR Pub All Stars)

2nd Place: Nick Miller (Sin Bin Potato) & Kevin Gamad (Bulldog Estyle)

3rd Place: Paulino Torrico (Bulldog Estyle) & Dominic Johnson (Sin Bin Potato)

In addition to all the fun and games at the tournament special congratulations go to Justin 'Mantis' Kim, who won a new Seybert's cue courtesy of the special raffle organised by the IPL and Paul Riddle.
