Yesterday saw our traditional, big money end of season singles tournament take place and it was an enormously eventful affair once again. Some terrific play, great sportsmanship and interesting situations occurred and it was a pleasure witness.

The Lower Bracket crown was claimed by the elated Ha-hyun Park who defeated the new and dangerous Potato signing, Chris Dews. It also featured, possibly for the first time, more special games than the Upper Bracket. Special mention to Denys from Troyjans who completed his first ever 8-ball run against the very obliging Lenny Erickson.

The Upper Bracket saw a Phoenix final with Jang Joon-min exactly some measure of revenge of Bong Bong for beating him into 3rd in the mid-season tournament by claiming the the overall title.

Today sees round three of the playoffs and the Scrooge and JJ's teams re-enter the fray alongside Shenanigans Banana Scrubbers and Dolce Vita Sweet Life. Wednesday night saw Dolce Vita Angry Birds roast and feast on Potato and Boomtown Rats take out the league winners and favourites All Stars in a titanic battle. The real drama was at Sin Bin as usual, which saw its second 8-7 match of the playoffs as Tomato took all three doubles games to eliminate Scandal. The Kings refused to be FUTAed and put them to the sword and in Championship C Ballistics made the semis without firing a ball in anger and Runners simply had far more stamina than Troyjans.
