It has been a busy couple of weekends, with two tournaments and a captains' meeting.

The Mid-season Singles Trophy tournament was held March 25th at King Pub, JJ's, JR Pub, and Wolfhounds.

A total of 38 players signed up, with one player having to forfeit his games due to his late arrival.

There ended up being 18 players in the upper bracket, with the cut-off at 1697. There were 19 players in the lower bracket, with the cut-off being 1686.

Results:

Lower Bracket:

1st Place: Richard Hirst - JJ's The Pain

2nd Place: Joon Woo Shin - King Pub The King

3rd Place: Magno Filipe Goncalo - Phillie's Frigates


Upper Bracket:

1st Place: Roland "Thoto" Kondes - JR Pub Pinoy Mafia

2nd Place: Darryl "The Big Easy" Dawson - Sin Bin Strokers

3rd Place: Minho "Mino" Kim - Scrooge Pub Wonky Dics


Each of these players will receive a trophy at the end-of-season awards banquet.

The Mid-season Doubles Money Tournament was held on April 1st at Bull and Barrel and Dolce Vita.


A total of 30 people participated, resulting in 15 teams. Lower ranked players were randomly assigned partners from higher ranked players, with the cut-off for higher ranked at 1690, and the cut-off for lower ranked at 1687.


Results:
