The organisational for the new season will take place next week. The details are as follows:

Place: Dolce Vita

Date: Wednesday, 8th July

Time: 7:30pm

Please sign up for the new season. Each team must nominate a captain and the captain must give contact and team name details. They must also put down a deposit of 100,000won. The total fees for the season will be 350,000won which must be paid by July 29th.

The new season will start a week later on July 15th. The key dates for the Summer/Fall 2015 Season will be given out at the organisational meeting.

My thanks to all those who attended the Awards Banquet last Friday. I also appreciate those who gave their suggestions for the coming season and those issues will be raised at the organisational meeting. (I might even include the suggestions  that the league adopts the slogan 'Nice Rack' and inaugurates a strip pool tournament. I suspect those ideas came from 3 Alley but I'm not sure if our eyes are ready for the shock of those guys participating in a strip pool tournament)

There are several bars in the Itaewon Pool League who would like a second team. Hollywood is getting a new table next week and would like a second team. The old 3 Alley, now called Fat Alberts, is looking for a new team for the new season. I also believe Friend's might be looking for players or a team for the new season. If your bar is experiencing problems please let me know and the IPL executive committee will try to help find an alternative venue for your team.

3 Alley Pub has a new venue and is now called 3 Alley Seoul. It is in the basement of the Cheil Building near the Rocky Mountain Tavern and next to a Coffee Bean outlet. It is a fantastic new bar and they now have one of the best pool tables in league.

Bird Riders Korea is also planning to offer discounts to all IPL players on Thursdays. I will get more details in the next week and post on here soon.
