How are the bars decided for the tournament? The best table I've played on this season is the one at The Loft. The bars that maintain the best tables shouldbe rewarded imho.

This is an amateur league and we play in bars. Playing conditions vary among the different bars, which is part of our league, and there are different preferences as to where our members like to play most. We try to work with bar owners to maintain a minimum level of playing conditions, not only for tournaments, but for all matches played in the league during the season.

The league officials decide the venues for the tournaments. We try to make sure, that all the bars participating in the league are considered regularly. Additionally, we need at least one bar which is suitable for having the sign-up, the participating bars need to agree to have the tournament, need to open on time, and need to be close to eachother to allow short walking distance between the different bars.

The last mid-season tournament was held in 4 bars, among which was the Loft, and there were 77 players signing up for the tournament. It would be nice to have a similar turnout this time, so pencil in the date in your calendar, sign up and win some money!
