For consideration at the next captains meeting.
I had a chance to talk to a lot of players who don't play in itaewon anymore, and one of the number one reasons cited is that the matches take too long. At the captains meeting I asked if the shot clock helped anyone get out earlier, and from the people in the room it did not.
Is anyone interested in going to a 5 game per set format. This would reduce the minimum squad to 5 individuals.
Set 1: 5 singles
Set 2: 5 singles
Set 3: 1 single, 2 doubles
Also this is the same format that is used in Songtan, mostly by necessity because the soldiers have curfew. But it works!
Benefits:
we would get out earlier.
would make it easier for teams to avoid forfeiting
I believe this would also have the side of effect of generating more teams.
