Banquet

Schedule: 7pm - 10pm
(Door opens 6.30pm. Buffet opens at 7.15pm)

We will: review the past season; hand out awards to teams, playoff winners, mid-season tournament winners, and our most successful individual players of the season; have a raffle; and enjoy the banquet—hopefully in the company of many of our members.

Guests are welcome to the banquet. Please understand that we need to charge a KRW30,000 entrance fee for non-members of the Itaewon Pool League. For members (anyone who played at least one game during the last season) entrance is free, as it is covered through league dues paid by each team. A GUEST MAY NOT TAKE THE PLACE OF A TEAM MEMBER WHO IS NOT COMING.

End-of-Season Singles Tournament

Tournament:

Date: Saturday December 8, 2012

Locations: Bless U, Dolce Vita, JR Pub, Seoul Pub

Mode: Singles tournament in 2 brackets based on player ratings on the day of the tournament. All registered players will be separated into upper and lower ratings brackets, with an equal number of players per bracket.

Registration:

Time: December 8, 3pm - 3.45pm, Bless U (tournament starts 4pm)

Fee: KRW10,000 per player

Requirements: Participating players need to have played on 5 different match days in the current season. Check whether you fulfil this requirement by clicking menu Statistics, then Qualifiers, then select option Mid-Season Qualifiers and scroll down to find your team.

Awards:

No trophies will be awarded for the winners of this tournament.

The following prize money will be awarded to the winners in each bracket on the day of play:

1^st: 400k (KRW400,000), 2^nd: 200k, 3^rd: 100k, 4^th: 60k, 5^th-8^th: 30k

Playoffs: Finals

The finals will be played this Wednesday, December 5, 7:30pm.

1. Home teams are responsible for their bars being open and available for practise from 6:30pm this Wednesday for themselves or 7pm for the visiting team. Matches start at 7:30pm.

2. Captains cannot enter the playoff match scores. Please drop the score sheets at Bless U after the match so the scores can be entered by a league official.

3. Navigate to Season / Playoffs to view the match pairings and results of the matches.

4. The first match in each bracket is to determine 1^st and 2^nd place, the second match is to determine 3^rd and 4^thplace.
