End of season
Next week is the last match of the regular season. Captains, please make sure matches are entered and score sheets are dropped in Dolce Vita Wednesday night, so the playoff schedule can be worked out and posted. I suggest the 2 captains decide who enters the scores, who will then keep one sheet to enter, and at the same time drop the other sheet at DV.

Elections of League Officials for 2012
We will vote for new league officials at our year end banquet Friday, 16 December 2011. Anyone who is interested to contribute some time and effort to the benefit of our league is welcome, please notify one of the current officials during the weeks before the banquet.
We will arrange a vote for a slate during the banquet, which means there will be one vote for a team of candidates. Presidential candidates will be responsible to nominate their team latest at the beginning of the banquet.
Jim Dewey, Josie Kim and myself (Bernard) will not be able to serve the league next year and will not run again. However, we will be happy to support the new officials if desired.

Playoffs
The top ranked 16 teams at the end of the regular season will qualify for the Championship playoffs.
The lower ranked 14 teams will compete in the Best of the Rest playoffs, the first 2 teams having a bye in the first round.
Click Season / Team List in the menu to view the standings of all teams, which is continuously updated by the site. How the ranking is determined is explained in the Help screen (click the [Help] button).
The first round of the playoffs will be played Sunday, 27 November, at 4pm. Home teams are responsible to make sure their bars open at 3pm latest for practise.
