Sheldon started playing in the pool league when it started and served as president in the early days of the league. He was responsible for developing the original website for the league. Even after he had moved on from Seoul, he maintained the website for several years. He was instrumental in putting the rating system into use in the league.

Sheldon Arnst was born in Edmonton, Alberta and finds comfort in being from there. He was trained as an animator, and has been fortunate enough to have been employed in a number of countries in the industry. He was in Korea from 1993 until 2007, and it was the longest that he have ever lived in any city, before or since. He continued to travel around Asia, and now (as of 2017) resides in Vancouver, Canada.
