For those of you who really can't go a Wednesday without pool, JR Pub and Bulldog will be holding a double-elimination tournament on Wednesday, February 14th.
Signups will be at JR Pub until 6:45 pm. The tournament will begin at 7:00 pm.
10,000 won entry fee. The bars will add a bit to the pot as well.
This is a non-league tournament, so all are welcome.ÂÂ

Thanks to the hard work of Rickie Ball, the schedule has been generated and posted in record time. Next time you see Rickie, give him a big kiss, hug or beer.
As is true every season, Bernard has worked hard to set up the website for this season and upload the schedule for us. Kisses, hugs or beer to him, as well.
We have 23 teams again this season, which is wonderful news. We have a bar re-entering the mix, Upper Deck in Kyunglidan. This is good news after losing Sin Bin last season.
The schedule is posted, and we will begin this Wednesday, January 10.
For your general information, each team has one bye during the season. Byes will be scored as 8 points, with NO WIN BONUS POINT (this is different from last season).
Any forfeits will be scored 10-0, with a win bonus point awarded.
The mid-season captains' meeting will be worth a nice chunk of bonus points - perhaps greater than 10 this season. A lot of teams skipped last season. Shame, shame, shame.

Please pay any outstanding team fees as soon as you possibly can. If they are not paid by the 3rd week of the season, your team will forfeit all matches up to that point, so don't delay!

Saturday, January 20th, the Itaewon Pool League will be having a fundraiser tournament to help with league expenses.
Signups at Scrooge Pub from 3:00 to 3:45 pm. The tournament will start as close to 4:00 pm as possible. The tournament will be held at Scrooge Pub and Dolce Vita.
Registration fee is 10,000 won per person, with a one-time buyback of 5,000 won.
There will also be a Calcutta auction, where people bid on which player they think will win the tournament.
There will also be a few raffle prizes to give away.
50% of the registration fees and buyback money collected and 50% of the Calcutta money will be paid out to the respective winners.
The other 50% and money raised by the sale of raffle tickets will go to the Itaewon Pool League in order to help pay league expenses and make it possible to provide money tournaments and top-quality banquets in the future.
We hope that you will come out with the intention of contributing a bit of money to the league.

The 2018 Winter/Spring Season is almost upon us...
The Organisational Meeting will take place next Wednesday, January 3rd at 7pm in Shenanigans.
All teams wishing to play must have a representative at the meeting.
To register a team for the upcoming season you will need to provide the league with a deposit of 100,000won next Wednesday and pay the full fees of 350,000won by the 3rd week of the season. You will need to provide the name of your captain, his or her contact details and the bar that will be your home for the forthcoming season.
The league season will begin on Wednesday, January 10th.
If you have any queries or points you wish to raise at the meeting or you need help in any way, shape or form please contact Lenny (and be aware he is in America till January 2nd) or Dominic and they will help you as much as humanly possible.
