We had 22 players turn out for the doubles tournament yesterday. A decent showing for a wet Saturday afternoon. After some pulsating battles, a surprising number of scratches, and a 2-game final when many of those in attendance lost the will to live, the following teams emerged victorious.
1st Place: David Pipes (Sam Ryan's Chalk and Awe) & Charlie West (Dolce Vita HoboZ4Lyfe)
2nd Place: Darryl Dawson (Jr Pub Super Strokers) & Mike Kim (Shenanigans HELL FIRES)
3rd Place: Young Jin Yi (King Pub Komodo Dragons) & Jim Sapielak (Dolce Vita Sweet Life)

This Saturday 3/9 we have the Mid-season Singles Trophy Tournament.
All players who have played at least one game this season are eligible to play.
Entry is free!!
Players will be divided into two brackets: upper and lower. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 players in each bracket.
Sign Ups at Sam Ryan's from 3-3:45pm. Play starts at 4pm.

We had a perfect turn out of 32 players for yesterday's tournament. 16 brave souls battled in the Upper Bracket (lowest rating 1648) while 16 plucky hearts fought to the bitter end in the Lower Bracket (highest rating 1644).

Yesterday saw a highly creditable 22 players descend on Itaewon for the doubles tournament. There were thrills and spills, Hollywood shots and unbelievable misses. After an evening of high drama the following teams emerged victorious.
