Schedule: 7pm - 10pm
(Door opens 6.30pm. Buffet opens at 7.15pm)

We will: review the past season; hand out awards to teams, playoff winners, mid-season tournament winners, and our most successful individual players of the season; have a raffle; and enjoy the banquet—hopefully in the company of many of our members.

Guests are welcome to the banquet. Please understand that we need to charge a KRW20,000 entrance fee for non-members of the Itaewon Pool League. For members (anyone who played at least one game during the last season) entrance is free, as it is covered through league dues paid by each team.

Hope to see you this Friday, but if you cannot join us, I hope to see you again next season!

Danny Peters (Sin Bin The Boozers) would like to try to raise some money for Dewey Song, who is gravely ill in hospital and having significant trouble with medical bills. We are told he has lost most of his vision and desperately needs a kidney transplant.

Dewey, a phenomenal pool player, has played in the Itaewon Pool League since 2001 and is well-known to many. If you want to contribute anything to help him, please contact Danny Peters. For Danny’s contact information, either log in to the website or ask one of the league executives. Many thanks.

League members have asked that the following topics be discussed and voted upon at the upcoming mid-season meeting:

• Visiting team gets to practice with match balls

• Teams must agree to reschedule if given at least 24 hours’ notice

• Allowing players to switch teams mid-season

• A limit on how many matches a team can reschedule in one season

• Lagging for the break/Alternating breaks with first break of each set determined by coin toss.
  

• Ban the Magic Rack or both players/teams must agree if the Magic Rack is to be used

• Losing player loses zero points when opponent does break-and-run

• Awarding 10 bonus points (to winning player) for 8-ball-run/break-and-run

• Admit RAndy's bar to the IPL

• Top four playoff places given to winners of each division. Remaining places determined by total points.

• Have zero time outs.
