1. 8-ball off the break is a win
2.If a player scratches on the break the opponent has ball in hand
3. Only the player shootingmay call a time out
4. Put a time limit on the match (example 3 Hours)
5. Use a handicap system
6.To save money do away with pay outs by the league (participation is poor)
7. Let the captain select the oposing player for each game. For example the home team for the first set lists his players and the visting team captain enter the opponent for each game and vice versa fcr the second set. third set remains the same
8. Do away with the refs everyone keeps saying this is a friendly league

Thanks, Roger. A lot of the proposals have come up before and haven't been well received. I will ask once more about the 8 ball off the break and a ball in hand off the break.

"If a player scratches on the break the opponent has ball in hand" - this is the rule since the last 5 years. Please read the rules, see chapter 3.3. f, g & h.
"8-ball off the break is a win" would be the only deviation from BCA and WPA rules.

I think Roger was suggesting a ball in hand anywhere on the table rather than behind the headstring

Thanks for pointing that out, in this case we do not have it in the rules as we follow BCA/WPA.
