though what if we had a separate leader board for non-season tournaments that were seudo sponsored/supported by the league...
you could have aseparatetournament rating, some players play better in tournaments than they do week to week in the league. Maki comes to mind. this would allow non registered players to attend and track states, charge them a one time per season registration fee for entry if they aren't active on a team. that way they could be a "league member" but in reserve status. many player like to show up for tourneys but don't have the commitment to show up week after week. could be an additional source of revenue for the league as well.
